In a country where expressions of public art are often classified as vandalism, MAMA MAGNET worked with the stakeholders at One Kampong Gelam to inaugurate Southeast Asia’s first official graffiti Hall of Fame in Kampong Gelam, Singapore.
Originally constructed as noise barriers for ongoing roadworks on Bali Lane and Ophir Road, the opportunity was taken into stride by 17 Singapore-based artists.
A Hall of Fame represents space for expression and growth of the urban scene. It allows the public to experience the painting process and have conversations with artists much more easily. Watch this space.

After: Time Travel by Boon Baked and KILAS, featuring Singapore Sidecars.

Before: Noise Barriers on Ophir Road
