Infinite Play Overspray I Just Want To Lie Down Everyday exposes the work and musings of Singaporean visual artist-carpenter Soph O (WaywardClouds; b.1984) who makes hard forms with soft edges, using offcuts, upcycled wood materials and pastel paint cans.
The artist invited Tulika Ahuja to write text alongside their solo presentation. The writing was presented as journal entries dispersed over the 3-week duration of the exhibition, discussing transience, assemblage, labour and play. It offers audiences multiple entry points into Soph O’s world, and together with her paintings, is compiled into a hand stitched zine. View more.
